It is getting hot. So as to further enhance students' safety, avoid drowning accidents and improve students' self-rescue and mutual-rescue abilities, Anqing Foreign Language School took measures to start a craze of anti-drowning publicity and education activities.
In the first place, Anqing Foreign Language School enhanced publicity and education. By means of the LED display in the administrative building to warn against drowning, 'six nos' requirements, speeches under the national flag as well as drowning prevention knowledge, we reminded students, parents and society to pay attention to drowning prevention and firmly establish safety awareness.
In the second place, Anqing Foreign Language School held a special meeting to prevent drowning. In the class teachers' meetings, teachers elaborated on the drowning prevention knowledge, requiring each teacher to earnestly initiate the anti-drowning work and do a good job in daily absence tracking and registration to ensure that the supervision of students is implemented.
In the third place, Anqing Foreign Language School held class meetings with the theme of 'Cherish Life to Prevent Drowning'. To be specific, each class organized students to watch the education video about anti-drowning safety education. The tragic examples educated students to cherish life and keep away from drowning. What's more, each class used the class display column to carry out the special events about drowning prevention knowledge in the form of themed hand-copied newspaper activities to enrich students' knowledge of self-protection and self-rescue.
In the fourth place, Anqing Foreign Language School proceeded home-school collaboration to play a joint role. Through the class QQ group and WeChat group, Anqing Foreign Language School pushed special video of family version on drowning prevention, printed and distributed 'A Letter to Parents about Drowning Prevention' issued by the Ministry of Education to tangibly require parents to educate and supervise their children and implement drowning prevention by home-school cooperation.
